Brandon Right is a stiff and starchy lawyer who must help footloose and carefree Candy Garland find a husband in three weeks or a Beverly Hills mansion and millions of dollars will fall into the hands of a dead man's undeserving family. Brandon is instantly attracted to Candy, but there's no time for an affair, and he certainly isn't in the market for a wife! Candy's knows that a passionate lover exists beneath the cool surface of her newly appointed mentor, but doesn't have time to melt the glacier around his heart. Will they relinquish Mason's fortune for a night of wild passion? What sexy mystery lies in the hidden garden? Will Fred be forgiven? Candy is a giddily optimistic, colorful woman, and a truly unconventional free spirit with a heart of gold. Life seems to crackle with new energy around her, making you look forward to meeting her prospective groom. Straight-laced Brandon is her polar opposite and it is interesting to see the changes his character undergoes after meeting Candy. Her mere presence is enough for Brandon's fantasies to take over his otherwise sensible brain. I don’t think even Brandon can give you the reasons as he falls hook, line and sinker for Candy. Their initial attraction just develops into something deeper within a short span of time yet doesn’t feel rushed. I really felt comfortable and relaxed during the lovemaking as if transported into the dream zone. As the two different worlds are trying to live together, the reader is enjoying every minute of the couple’s misadventures. There is not much time to give the story depth but the short comings of the plot can easily be over looked because of the great fun and beauty that is presented here! With skillful writing, Ms. Wallace urges her readers to open themselves to new possibilities. Looking For Mr. Right exudes enough warmth and charm to be a great, fun read!
Mahaira Fatima - Just Erotic Romance Reviews
Candy is a fun heroine who is not the typical stereotype of a librarian heroine. Instead of being a frigid kook, she's all about grabbing life with both hands and her rather kooky outlook only makes her more adorable. Brandon is the typical lawyer with a wild streak that he hides underneath his well-pressed suits, a fun one that complements Candy very well. Their fling is fun, fast, and fluffy.
If Looking For Mr. Right aims to entertain, then I'd say that it has done its job very well indeed.
